The Keg - Benbrook, TX

Scott loves this restaurant. He dines here when he judges horse shows and so he wanted to take Cowboy Ron and myself here to see it for ourselves. It has nice mood lighting, great cocktails and a such menu full of all delicious things.

We started with the crispy calamari, peppers and jalapenos served with a spicy ginger sauce. This was so tasty, I really love a good appetizer. A kick start to a fantastic meal!

I had the Oscar Sirloin, medium rare. Cooked perfectly and topped with asparagus, scallops, shrimp and Bearnaise Sauce. Holy rich and heavenly! It was like butter in my mouth. The mashed potatoes on the side made me feel like a queen. This meal was no joke!

Scott ordered the Prime Rib and enjoyed sauteed mushrooms and vegetables on the side. Doesn't this just look like the ultimate meat meal? Get your protein on!

This 20 oz. Bone In Ribeye has Cowboy Ron written all over it! Crispy onion strings, mashed and sautéed mushrooms were just a delightful steak house combination. We eat good don't we?

Melissa Good Taste can't ever walk past a Creme Brulee on the menu so here we go! It was perfect, one of the better ones I have had in a long time. The strawberries were a great after meal palate cleanser. This was just one stunning meal. I would return in a heart beat.

There just can't be a better place for steak & prime rib than Texas.

I think you won the potato lottery tho' Melissa. They take up half the plate! YUM!
