Artisan, again. - Paso Robles, CA

Whenever we are in Paso Robles we go to Artisan at least once. They have such a unique menu every time we go and I always am amazed with the preparation. Cowboy Ron, Scott, Kat and myself had a delicious dinner and I would like to share it with you!

White and Red - Ron orders the best.

For my starter I ordered the chantrelle toast, soft poached egg with bacon. Breakfast on the plate, yum!

And the rest of the table shared two orders of the jalapeno corn bread.

Ron and I both ordered the scallops, mussels, shrimp, clams and chorizo in a delicious saffron broth. It was so savory and rich. I wanted a straw to drink the broth in the end!

Roasted duck and pumpkin risotto for Kat. She had never had duck before and she enjoyed! Go Kat.

Scott ordered the pork strip loin with the loaded sweet potato. He ordered it to a medium and ate to his hearts content.

Chocolate cake with Guinness ice cream. Delicious!

Artisan with great friends is a winner every time!

That cake is adorable. Looks just like a Hostess cupcake of my youth.

And I would've been sopping up that juice with copious amounts of bread.

PS - have you found your dog yet?
