Pappadeaux Seafood Kitchen - Fort Worth, TX

I love the Pappa's restaurants! They are so good. This one is one is all things seafood and you know Melissa Good Taste just loves that! I was a margarita drinking fool in Texas, they were just so refreshing on hot days. This one happened to be frozen, i usually like them on the rocks.

Cowboy Ron and I enjoyed a dozen of Blue Point Oysters. They were briny and luxurious, I don't know why I don't order them more often. It took a trip to Texas to get me hooked on them!

Scott ordered the Jumbo Shrimp Brochette on a bed of Dirty Rice. The char-grilled shrimp were wrapped with bacon, filled with Monterey Jack cheese and just a sliver of jalapeno inside. He loves the bacon and shrimp combo more than anyone I know!

Cowboy Ron went for the Crawfish Etouffee and was not disappointed. He saw it on the menu and decided to go for it because you just don't see it on menus out West. Good job, Cowboy Ron!

My glorious, glorious order. This was the best thing I ate in Texas, I can promise you that! It was grilled Texas Redfish, topped with lobster, sauteed spinach and dressed with lemon butter on a bed of Parmesan risotto. If you ever get the opportunity to order this, do it. It makes me hungry just remembering what this dish tasted like. Heaven on earth.

We went big and decided dessert was in order. Creme Brulee, Pecan Pie and Banana Pudding, we shared all three and they were fantastic. Pappadeaux knocked it out of the park! Hands down, a great experience.
