I love them from gas stations, fast food restaurants, movie theaters but most of all from sporting events. I have loved the artificial cheese since I was a wee chap and can't quite stop the craving. A cold Pepsi, or preferably Dr. Pepper, to wash it down and I am happy as a clam.
It is funny as much as I love fine dining, a meal like this - under five bucks can make my day as well. I guess that is the kind of gal I am, formal and casual all at the same time!
I hear you. The cheap movie theater/ballpark (or I guess rodeo) nachos. The only thing is, when I was 13 I had some with salsa with my nachos at the Sports Arena in LA and I got a horrible sore throat. It may or may not have actually been the salsa (but it felt like it at the time) so now, twenty years later, I still can't eat those kind of nachos if they come with salsa. Cheese only!
That's just the best way to be! I love my fine dining and lobster but there are days I'm happy with 10 cent ramen.
Nachos ARE delicious though.
I am with you on nachos. Lately I've taken to trying them at a lot of different places to see whos are best (right now the grocery store/restaurant in Hollister wins -- Las Cuates?) But give me the chips and cheese dip and I'm happy, too. :)
