Happy National Eggs Benedict Day!
Today is National Eggs Benedict Day. Since Eggs Benedict is my favorite brunch dish of all time, I couldn't let the holiday pass without posting a delicious photo. The classic bennie is a layered masterpiece consisting of an English muffin, ham, poached egg, and a velvety hollandaise sauce. The Benedict is so wildly popular that it's inspired many spin offs, like my current favorite from Bill's Cafe -- The Crab Cake Benedict. You have to try it sometime. Keep on eating! -MGT

Yum!! I love eggs : )
Well Eggs Benedict Day is certainly a lot more fun than tax day! These look scrumptious!
Who knew?! Thanks for the knowledge. Did gets Eggs Bennie today, but might just have to make sure I get some this weekend! mmmmmm, hollandiase sauce!
I don't think I have ever had eggs benedict but they look amazing!
CONGRATS on your first shift (sorry my comment has nothing to do with your post)! You simply MUST post a photo for us all. Lilly shifts are simply the best- so easy, so flattering, so fun!
I've actually never had eggs benedict. I'm sort of scared of it! The hollaindaise eeks me out a little, but I do like the sound of the crab in there.
my favorite brunch item as well!! yay! happy national eggs benedict day to you!
What? I didn't know...I feel left out.
What a great photo. I hope you got to eat this one. I LOVE a good Eggs Benedict and Eggs Florentine. YUM! I didn't know it had its DAY :)
I fear eggs benedict, on grounds of how very wrong Hollandaise can go if it has sit out too long or wasn't cooked at the right temperature.
